those too good for this world

for those who are washed by the blood of the lamb, death is victory
embraced by glory, rejoicing in the afterlife, for the journey has come to its end

in sickness and in capture, some tortured and murdered
being faithful unto death, and receiving a crown of life
not denying the one who has shed his blood for us
through these tests of faith, now reaching the goal
