anyway, whoever knew stephen that arranged for me to stay there
didn’t know that he’d already lent it to this really
this great girl that i also knew from california
so i got into this beautiful house and i could stay in for free
with nothing much to do
and then there was this amazing girl in it
and this song, i wrote this song for her
it was just one of those magic times
i mean, it would, when you knew it was not gonna last forever
but it was, you know
it was gonna be like forever, actually, you know
