think it went pretty smoothly, without any problems
our finances were pretty weak but we were able to survive

a month later, daniel caught a greyhound in maryland

when i picked him up at the bus station
i said “if you really have esp, tell me where my house is”
so we drove along, he said “stop” right where my driveway was

walked into the studio, daniel started playing drums
we sang “spooky”, but god’s on the brain
we were ruined now there was no strings

we wrote songs about love, songs about hate
drank some lemonade and stayed up late
and in less than a week we bring to you [?]
